Also joining the meeting was Joe McCarthy of Congressman Markey’s office. The “doughnuts” meeting is an annual event held by CDCs across the state to update their political delegation about issues of state-wide concern. WCD is working with the Mass Association of CDCs to pass the Community Development Partnership Act – a tax credit that would encourage individual and corporate investments in CDCs.
